Oceanetic Measurement's ice-tracking instruments report ice position and movement in near real-time, to monitor ice pan location,drift, and deformation when deployed in an array. Internal sensors provide information regarding instrument status and battery condition. Sample rates and device reporting intervals can be varied remotely to vary operating durations. Oceanetic's ice tracking drifters are also a through-ice temperature profilers. All OML instruments are designed for deployment in harsh arctic and Antarctic conditions.
